When it comes to community involvement, it's hard to top Annette Alvarez, president and CEO of Alvarez Inc. In addition to running her own consulting firm, Alvarez is president of the Phoenix chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a board member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Body Positive and a founding member of the Women's Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Arizona Small Business Association, Valley Leadership and several other local groups.
